Eucalyptus & Lavender Toilet Bombs

These toilet bombs make the perfect natural swap from nasty chemical-laden toilet cleaners. Just pop one or two into the bowl, watch them fizz and clean as normal.  These make super-cute little eco-gifts or stocking stuffers.  Why not pop a few in a pretty jar? Nicer to look at than a plastic bottle!!

Ingredients:

1 cup bicarb of soda

1/3 cup citric acid

1 tbsp water / vinegar

15 – 20 drops lavender essential oil

15 – 20 drops eucalyptus essential oil

Silicone moulds (small)

Method:

In a large bowl combine the bicarb and citric acid. Pour the liquid you have chosen to use into a spray bottle along with the essential oils and spray into the dry mixture whilst stirring.  Keep going until the mixture starts to clump together like wet sand. Firmly press the mixture into the moulds.  Spray the tops lightly with the liquid and let sit overnight.

Once dry, pop out of the moulds and store in an airtight container.

These make a cute little eco-gift when presented in a pretty jar!
